Achievements

• The association joined the membership of the Sanabel Network (the Microfinance Network in Arab Countries) in 2002, and the membership of the Global Microfinance Network (MFN) in 2007 .

• Obtaining a “B+” rating in 2004, a “A-” rating in 2007 and 2010 as well as a social performance rating of 3 out of 4 by the Planet Classification Agency .


• Obtaining the Transparency Award from the Social Fund for Development in 2007.


• Received a five-star award from the MixMarket microfinance information exchange from 2008 to date .


• The association was globally ranked 26th among the microfinance institutions in the world by (Forbes magazine) and (MIX Market) in 2007, and then one of the best hundred microfinance institutions in the world (MIX Market) in 2008, 2009 .


• Obtaining a Certificate of Excellence in Performance from Sanabel Network and Citigroup in 2011 .


• The association obtained the silver certificate in social performance management from the Consulting Group to Assist the Poor (CGAP) and the information exchange market in the microfinance industry MIX in 2009, and it also obtained the gold certificate in 2010 .


• Innovative ways to enhance women’s access to finance from the Sanabel network and the German financial agency GIZ in 2016 .


• The Financial Inclusion and Transparency Awards from Sanabel 2016 .


• The number of beneficiaries reached 150 thousand customers in August 2017 .


• Obtaining a “BBB+” rating by the Planet Ratings Authority in 2017 .


• The association obtained the Smart Campaign certificate to protect the rights of global customers in 2019 .


• Obtaining a “A low” rating by Microfinanza in 2023 .


• The association obtained the golden certificate to protect the rights of global customers in 2023 .
