Most microfinance service providers operate as NGOs under a legal framework not adapted to microfinance. Egypt has the largest potential market for microentre prenuers in the Arab world with an estimation of 1.5 to 2 million non-agricultural private businesses, but only a small percentage of this large market is covered.

Coordination between Dakahlia and DBACD has taken place in order to organize the National Day of the Governorate. Where the association submitted donations for the people with special needs (disabled) such as; Wheelchairs, motorbikes, and tricycles.
On the side of annual gathering of DBACD's employees with the general assembly. Sherbine branch has won for the third consecutive time the Best Branch award on the association level cause of the distinct performance of its employees.
3. DBACD has been awarded with the regional award of the Microfinance Network in the Arab World "Sanabel" and the "German Society for International Cooperation" (GIZ) for the Innovation in reinforcement of women's access to finance in the Arab World.
Geographic Outreach
DBACD covers all cities and villages of the province of Dakahlia and DBACD began the gradual expansion in neighboring provinces to include the provinces of Damietta, El Sharqia, Port Said, ...... Etc.,
